OVERVIEW

SPILL is a period app that doesn't track cycles, instead, by using geolocation or entering a zipcode users are able to locate free menstrual products in their area. SPILL also provides numerous activities within the app to keep users engaged as well as generating free products the more you play.

Target Audience

My target audience consists of menstruators across the US ages 13-25. Typically students who don't receive a steady income and come from low-income/lower-middle-class families are unable to have easy access to products.

Call To Action

The primary message in SPILL appears on the loading screen "Find Products, Play Games, & Take Action". The main call to action is for menstruators to have access to free hygienic products and contraceptives in their areas. Health care should be free which is why SPILL has a secondary call to action; a take-action option where you can email your representatives or schools to advocate for free menstrual products around you using our templates. Another secondary call to action would be to play games generating revenue through the app that would help provide free products. It would incentivize users to come and play these games again to help out their fellow menstruators.
